I am one of two aldermen for the 7th Ward in Quincy, Illinois, alongside Jack Holtschlag. I have been on city council since 2019. (Click here to view the ward seven boundaries.)
I care deeply about our neighborhoods and Quincy as a whole, and work hard to update our aging infrastructure, promote growth, and empower our residents. As a longtime resident of the 7th ward, I understand the unique opportunities and challenges that we face, and look forward to making the 7th ward the best it can possibly be.

About Ben
I was born and raised in Quincy, Illinois and graduated from Quincy High School. During my time at DeVry Institute of Technology in Chicago, I was involved in Student Government and a Dean’s List honoree.
I served on The District’s board for several years, including as Treasurer and as Vice President. I have also been involved in community events like Q-FEST (now Midsummer Arts Faire), and I often volunteer at events in Quincy.
